Beauty Treatments (part 2)
By
Let us continue to look at some of the available beauty treatments in more detail.
Make up Sessions
A make-up session can simply be a bit of fun or it can be educational too as clients can learn new methods of applying cosmetics and also identify colours which flatter their skin tone. There will be an initial consultation where the beauty therapist will learn from the client whether they wish to learn how to apply make-up or cover scars and blemishes, if they are attending a special occasion such as a wedding or are simply feeling the need for a little pampering. Usually, the session will include cleansing, toning and moisturizing of the skin before cosmetics are applied to the face.
Hair removal
Epilation refers to the removal of the entire hair (above and below the skin) from the face or body and can be temporary or permanent depending on the techniques used by the beauty therapist.
Temporary methods offered by beauty therapists, which generally need to be repeated every four to eight weeks, include:
Waxing – hot wax is useful for removing strong hair growth, for example, in the underarm or bikini area and results can last up to six weeks.
Sugaring – a sugar paste is applied to the skin and as it is at a very low temperature, it is thought to be gentler on the skin.
Permanent hair removal techniques, where a course of treatments is usually required include:
Electrolysis or short-wave diathermy – an electrical current cauterizes the hair follicle and then each hair is removed using tweezers.
Laser – this is the newest technique for hair removal and is more effective on coarse, dark hair than lighter hair because intense pulsed light interacts with the pigment in the hair. Medical supervision is required and so it tends to be offered in more specialized establishments.
Massage
Each massage therapy has its own specific benefits. However, generally speaking massage helps to improve circulation and relax muscles. Techniques offered by beauty therapists include Swedish massage, aromatherapy massage, Thai, Shiatsu and Indian Head massages.
Hydrotherapy
Hydrotherapy refers to the application of water as a form of treatment and there are different types of hydrotherapy treatment available, which are usually offered at a spa. Hydrotherapy baths use powerful jets of water to massage, tone and stimulate the muscles and they may be used in combination with seaweeds, mineral salts or mud treatments. Other treatment options include thalassotherapy pools and plunge pools.
If you choose just one or even all of the beauty treatments discussed in these articles, hopefully you will have a relaxing and enjoyable experience that leaves you feeling refreshed and ready to face the world again.

I can see that you're very informed of what's going on in your country. Most Americans are totally mis-informed about their own history, not just Iran's'. I'm sure that many folks here on YA won't even read what you put up here in your ques. I'm afraid that our President is making plans for world domination, and the Middle East is square 1. I know that what you say and feel about Iran is true, but the media here are not gonna tell the truth anytime soon ! Anyone with a true sense of history, would understand the many contributions of Arabs throughout history, were important for the development of civilization. Don't judge Americans by what the govt. does or says. We're trapped in this, just as much as you !

Thank you for this. I live in the mountains in the western US. I saw a video of an Iranian ski resort and it didn't look unlike here!
It's sad how our press acts as propaganda for the government by demonizing Iran and Iranians.
I think its very important for Iranians to distinguish between "America" and the American Government. When you say death to America we take that personally. Our government has been taken over by corporate power, the war profiteering machine and special interests. Bribery is allowed and called campaign donations and the AMerican people are losing our liberties and freedom because of this. Our government has become very corrupt because of legal bribery. The true America would be a Constitutional America, but our president has even said, "the Constitution is just a g-dammed piece of paper.

Your article was very informative, thank you.
As you may know the media tend to exaggerate on everything(sensationalism sells).
Obviously I can only answer for myself but I believe it is common knowledge in the US.about Iran being a very civilized country, and the people of Iran being very educated.
There are exceptions to the rule, anywhere.
Wish you well

Very good informative article with a lot of research.
Thank You.
Reading the responses above I can see there are a bunch of Knuckleheads that don't even want to try to educate themselves.
I think everyone in the world knows what the U. S. oil Barron's are after in Iran……..oil.

OmG don't you copy and paste this EVERY day? Are you ever going to stop with your propaganda? The first time I read it, I tried to keep an open mind. Then I saw that you posted it again and again and again. Obviously you are just trying to spread your propaganda.

Wow! I couldn't have said it better myself. Very informative. But you know that people are people, and some must undermine others in order to justify their own agenda and prejudices. If they can't find facts, they will simply make them up. But you know what ? Their lies and miss-statements always catch up to them eventually. But then they start to make up more, so it is a vicious cycle.
Just forgive them for their ignorance, do the best you can in life and keep in mind that at least you (and many other educated people) know better.

I am actualy employed by an isralie jew. He has nothing against anyone except palistinians. And he aknowleged that the reason for that is because of the localised fighting for many years.
I am going to visit Isreal in the fall and he has told me many times that it is nothing like the media reports. It is not that bad in Israel.
I also spent time in the Army, And have seen conflict, my father recorded news reports while i was in the service, and the reports was NOTHING like what was reported.
Our media is Paid. The BUSH Admin has been caught 2 seperate times to the tune of 2.2million bucks for fake news releases.
Politicians buy the news for political gain.
If you the people have any sense at all, answer this question.
Why would you spend 30 to 80 million dollars to run for president when the pay in only 1.6 million per term????
We either have the dumbest politicians on earth or they are corrupt!
WAKE UP AMERICA!

Americans have been brainwashed for years, they have been sold the belief they are better than God.
They don't realize how well their news is edited (returning bodies is one subtle one, which they tried to copy in Canada until freedom raised its voice)
