Cosmetic Laser Dentistry
By
One of the more important branches of dentistry is without a doubt cosmetic dentistry. It is a special branch of dentistry that deals with solidifying your teeth into a perfect smile. In order to achieve the perfect look, your cosmetic dentist will use special cosmetic dentistry techniques to replace missing teeth, to fix broken or chipped teeth, to fix any crookedness that may be present and to fix any other discolorations and problematic configurations that may be present on your teeth. Perhaps the usage of lasers and concentrated light diodes is one of the most important tools and advantages of cosmetic dentistry. Cosmetic laser dentistry stems from the fact of using laser which is a concentrated beam of light in cosmetic dental procedures.
Cosmetic laser dentistry can be used to fix variety of problems. One such problem is the whitening of the teeth. Cosmetic laser dentistry allows you to use laser tools to help scrape off the discolorations and the stains that may be present on your teeth. Especially tar and nicotine stains which may be caused by smoking can be very hard to clean and by using lasers, your cosmetic dentist will be able to clean your teeth to a perfect looking white.
Moreover, cosmetic laser dentistry is also used to drill your cavities and to do root canal treatment. Unlike normal dentistry tools which are used for drilling through heat and vibration, dental laser tools are able to drill with minimum interference. The tooth enamel is chipped through at high speeds with high efficiency. The normal pain which is caused by the vibration of the classic dental drilling tool is not present and more importantly the patient can undergo the procedures without anesthesia most of the time. In addition, cosmetic laser dentistry also allows the patient to undergo even the most complex dental procedures without a hitch.
Of course, there are other procedures that can be used with lasers in cosmetic dentistry. The usage of lasers allows both the soft tissue and the hard tissue to be sculpted easily due to the power of the laser. In addition, it is perfectly harmless and many hard dental operations which can take hours to complete can be realized in a matter of minutes. Hence, a laser is the friend of a cosmetic dentist as it both shortens the time of the operations and it also helps to work on the patient’s teeth and gums without giving the patient pain or discomfort. Some cosmetic dentists also use the laser to clean plaque and tartar from your teeth due to its intense and concentrated power.
Thus, as you can see, laser tool is used both in normal dentistry for treatment as well as for cosmetic dentistry. However, the lasers used in cosmetic dentistry will be best effective with dentists who know how to apply these methods in the best way possible. So, as you can see, there are many things that can be said about cosmetic dentistry and although every cosmetic dentist will also be a good dentist, not all dentists can practice cosmetic dentistry as it requires special expertise and know – how.

Well I wud suggest that instead of relying on agents and tour operators and travel agents it is always better to approch professionals with medical background.

Every patient is different. Depends on how much they cut off, but generally, you feel some mild soreness for a few days, maybe a week, until your gum tissue heals.
Usually your dentist will prep your teeth for veneers, and do the gum reduction the same day, put you on temporary veneers, and bring you back for final impressions after 2 weeks.
Then after 2 more weeks, you get your veneers.
good luck!

As a dental student, I have never heard of a dental laser. It appears to be a very useful concept.
