Female Fertility

Women have not got it easy when it comes to getting pregnant. There are so many fertility issues regarding women that you don’t know where to turn. Here is a simple and quick guide to female fertility and female infertility all to increase your chances to having a baby and getting pregnant.

The first thing you need to do is see your doctor and gynecologist and get a full check done to see if everything is working properly. If not then at least you can get it dealt with as soon as possible. You may have previously been on the contraceptive pill and wonder how long it takes for the birth control bill to get out of your system. It depends upon the strength of the contraceptive pill and your own unique body. We have heard it can take 6 months or a lot longer even. The average time it takes to conceive successfully is around 1 1/2 to 2 years.

Polycistic Ovarian Syndrome PCOS is a common condition, which affects women fertility on different levels and degrees. You may recognise some of the symptoms such as excess hair growth, irregular periods and sometimes painful period pains, difficulty in losing weight, etc. These may seem very common symptoms and this is why you need to have PCOS tests done if you feel you may have Polycistic Ovarian Syndrome PCOS.

How do women determine their general fertility?
I have read that some women are more fertile than others.

Besides actually becoming pregnant, is there some way to determine one's own general fertility (I am not referring to fertility in specific stages of the cycle)? Is there a test?

My husband and I are on "the Pill" (and we will not be ready for a child for a long time). Is it true that women who are more fertile require a higher dosage of oral contraceptives? If I'm more fertile than most, I'd really like to know.

Are there methods to reduce fertility (aside from the obvious: hysterectomy or malnutrition)?

Thanks for your time and your input.

Laptops decrease men's fertility, women are affected more by health issues, increased or decrease weight, anatomical problems: blocked tubes, lesions in the uterus, failure to ovulate, endometriosis, etc.

Be sure to start by taking pre-natal vitamins while you are trying to conceive and stay on them during your pregnancy. This will give you the added folic acid that may not be in your regular multi-vitamin.

Here are some fertility foods for women:
Tea – Green tea and orange pekoe tea are both excellent fertility enhancers. Tea contains a high level of antioxidants which aid in healthy immune systems. Research has shown that women who regularly drink tea increase their chance of conception.

Foods rich in vitamin C – Fruits, especially citrus, help enhance fertility, especially in men. Vitamin C plays a role in boosting the immune system, and thus helps to aid in a healthy conception.

Foods high in calcium – Calcium contributes to strong bones, and is especially important for pregnant women to consume.

Vitamin B6 and Folic Acid – Leafy green vegetables, nuts and whole grains contain high levels of these nutrients. Vitamin B6 is a reproductive hormone regulator and folic acid helps to prevent certain neuro-tube defects in the fetus.

Water – probably the most important thing to consume. Get in the good habit of drinking at least eight cups of water a day.

Hope this helps!

Possibly, the world’s rising tide of homosexuality may also be partly responsible for falling birth rates.*

Birth rates are NOT falling across the globe. Jen5en is telling a lie.

Birth rates are not falling in countries of Africa for example. In many African countries fertility rate is over 8.

And I don’t easily believe what you say about Dutch persecution of Moslems. The Dutch are some of the world’s most tolerant people, & they certainly must still have large families.

6

the dutch hate muslims this is becoming quite evident that is why they are writting such laws to prohibit muslim freedoms such as building mosques… also i hate to inform you but dutch dont have large families excluding the muslim dutch…. it is quite possible that the native dutch pop will become a minority in the near future 30 years i would say

The research is extremely clear that marijuana has absolutely no effect on fertility or proper formation of male sperm or female ova.

Some people were taught that smoking pot distorts chromosomes or decreases sperm count, but it does not.

The bigger picture is, do you really want to bring babies into a household that is involved with the use of illegal drugs and all that involves.

First of all, my ex-neighbor, who is only about 5'2" had a hard time getting pg, but is now carrying twins. I'm 5'7" and only have one bun cooking in there. I've never heard of any of these things making or meaning that a woman is more fertile. It is a myth that larger breasted women have better time breast feeding, which is the only reason I can think of for breasts making it easier to raise children. (If you bottle feed, the breasts are really only there for the entertainment of the father.) As for the biological purpose of the waist/hips thing, I don't think the waist matters so much, since you lose that when you're pg anyway, but the wide hips do make it easier to *carry* the baby when you're pregnant, and might help with the birth process, too.

(My parents WERE white immigrants.) I don’t think the answer is more immigration. The answer lies in re-educating young Canadians about the importance of raising their own God-fearing families. And they should be encouraged to stop taking off to all those foreign exotic countries.

I've never heard of this, sounds like nonsense to me

There are probably more than I know about, but the general ones will be:

check hormone levels through blood draws over the course of a couple of months. The doctors will also probably do a pelvic ultrasound to check to see if the ovaries are properly shaped and don't have cysts. An HSG test where dye is injected into the uterine cavity and into to the fallopian tubes is done to make sure there aren't fallopian blockages. Samples of the uterine lining might be taken to make sure that it's nutrient-rich enough to sustain a fertilized egg. The man will usually also supply a sperm sample so that sperm count, viability and motility can be assessed.

I have been taking Micheal's Female Reproductive Factors. The lady at the health food store who recommended it to me said her daughter-in-law had PCOS and had tried many fertility treatments and finally was told she couldn't get pregnant. She started taking this and 6 months later was pregnant. I have had problems with irregular periods. It really seems to be working to get me back regular. I have been taking it for about 4 months now. I also take evening primrose oil until ovulation and flaxseed oil from ovualtion until day 1. I have recently added Solaray Baby Me Now Natural Fertility to this regement as she told me it would aid in irregular periods.

I see many people ask question on here about "ovulex". I don't have any experience with it myself so I can't say how it works. If you do a search of questions above for "ovulex" you will find questions about it and you can look at answers that were given. It should give you some information that might help. You can also to a web search for "herbal infertility treatments". I have seen quite a few that are for both male and female. Check to see if you have a health food store in your area. Some of them are run by "herbalist" and can recommend things for you. Good luck!

Birth rates are falling across the globe. The notions of these problems being exclusive features of Europe, the US, Japan and industrialized countries in general are not realistic assumptions. The Middle-East and Africa are seeing declining birth-rates as well, it’s just that they are higher than European AT THE MOMENT. When/if these countries see economic prosperity in the future, birth rates will dwindle further. Then again, we will live longer… so relax.

No I actually read up on that online because I was wondering about that. Apparently it CAN happen to guys but only if they seriously overuse the laptop, then the radiation can mess with the sperm, but it's really not supposed to happen to girls.

17

Whether that’s true or not, Canada is still at least 90% white. Like pjvdixon said, don’t play the race card!

18

wow buddy its 2009 not 1989… canada is hardly 80% white… visible minorities make up 20% of canada… look it up… moreover you should be thanking immigrants because they are keeping the economy growing and social security running… whites are getting old and now depending on immigrants… something like half a million immigrants a year… thats why canada is now 33 million in pop
