Free Health Insurance for Children
By
Health insurance is vitally important especially for our children. Small children need vaccinations and preventive care as well as treatment for common recurring illnesses such as ear infections and allergies. For older children and teenagers getting regular checkups from a doctor can keep them healthy so that they miss fewer days of school. Most people would agree that having adequate medical coverage is important but for many working-class families the burden of another monthly payment is too much to bear.
But there is a program available that will provide free health insurance for children. If your children are not eligible for Medicaid there is a good chance they will be eligible for the Insure Kids Now program. The Insure Kids Now program is sponsored by the Health Resources and Services Administration which is an agency of the US Department of Health and Human Services.
The programs vary somewhat from state to state but they make it possible to get free health insurance for children from birth until their 19th birthday. If your child isn’t eligible for free health insurance there is still a very good chance that they would be eligible for very low cost health insurance. The eligibility requirements depend on the number of people in your family and your family’s monthly income.
The children that are eligible for this program generally come from working class families where the children are not covered by an employer sponsored benefits package and whose family cannot afford private health insurance.
To learn about the eligibility requirements for your state you can call the following toll-free number 1-877-543-7669. In most states you can apply through the mail by filling out a very short application or you may even be able to apply over the phone.

I have health insurance but have to pay for it, and also pay for the deductible. I want the same free health insurance as the lazy people with no deductible. How can I do this?

I think it is fair to provide healtcare for those that CANNOT work. I am not talking about those who don't want to work. For those that can work, we should have a scale. You can't just set an income scale or bracket. In my state (2 bedroom apartment rents for $1550) you can't live on $60K a year with a family that has 2 children. In some others you can. So here is the fair plan.
- We set a local income scale based on average living expenses in a local. Probably by county.
-The Fed subsidizes it by a percentage up to the cap for what is consider poor based on the scale.
-Everyone buys commercial insurance if they want it and get a tax break for doing so. Those the are under the cap, get a subsidy.
-The government negotiates for best prices with the big providers, and there is a discount that is good for all. (Like Massachusetts)
This way, for those that can self-insure, are Christian Science or friends of Ron Hubbard, they are not forced ot have it. If you need it and want it, it is affordable. And if you priorities are a new HD TV and car that you can't afford, and not insurance, don't get sick.

Most likely not.
But you can always request that the child support be re-evaluated.

I want free stuff too!
Would Hillary's proposal to give $5,000 to every child born in the US be retroactive?
I like free stuff, I hope Hillary gets elected so the government gives me more reasons not to work anymore.
People also need transportation, homes and entertainment (for stress relief, which has been proven to be good for your health), so let's get those democrats elected, cause I think my transmission is starting to fail, and they are too expensive for me to be paying for.

Well, thank goodness I don’t manage my own check book the way you suggest. And it looks as though all of us how are responsible, demand that gov act within its means, refuse vain and spurious machinations will go down with the ship.
Just read whats been written in this short span again until it sinks in. You are willing to act unlawfully, spend what you don’t have, take it from those who act responsibly and spill blood if necessary?
What a foolish and utterly insane suggestion.

I know that its not free. The only reasonable way to pay for it would be to raise taxes, and we all know how much people will spill blood over that. In the long run however i think it would solve alot of our problems

Medicaid is for poeple just like you in that same situation, They offer healthcare for you until you give birth then its family planning only, and they offer free health insurance for your child until they are 19 as long as your income allows. Go to the medicaid website for your state and you can apply online.

Yes, it's run by the Medicaid department. Here's the link: http://www.texaschildrenshealthplan.org/Visitors/CHIP/default.aspx
btw, ALL states have a program similar to this.

Lots of people your age end up in this situation, but you have options. First, if you parents had health insurance and you were a full time student, there is an excellent chance you would qualify to be added as a dependent on their plan. You should also check to see what kind of health program your university offers. Some universities have health plans you can sign up for when you apply for classes.
Another idea is to call a licensed agent to discuss what options you might have in the insurance. eHealthInsurance.com, where I work, allows you to look at a broad range of health plans in your area. All you have to do is enter your zip code, birthday and gender and you will instantly see several plans and their rates and benefits. We also have licensed agents available through our toll free number: 1-800-977-8860.
If you still can’t find a plan that fits your budget, visit coverageforall.org. Their site summarizes public assistance programs across the US as well as each program’s eligibility requirements.
Hope that helped!
Amir M, licensed agent.

why dont we move to free health care like so many other countries that have longer living people?

May I suggest to you Ameri Plan. They do not have any restrictions on pre-existing conditions and you can start saving immediately. There is a hospital advocacy program that assigns you a personal advocate to negotiate with doctors on your medical bills.
The plan also includes savings on dental, vision, prescription and chiropractic care. I'd check them out. I'm so proud to be with them. I know I shouldn't advertise, but your need sounds great. Let me know if you have any questions. wlakin@ameriplan.net

We are currently running a promotion for just the dental, vision, prescription and chiropractic plan where you can try it out for 3 months for $23 total. This is a great service. You should check it out!

1909-1913 Federal Reserve Act; Title 26; 1934-1941 Social Security Act; Victory Tax; SCOTUS
The list is too long the abuses too deep for 500 words. Make a video with your positions and post as video reply.

For one reason and it’s a doozie it’s NOT FREE. And, we don’t have the money to pay for it. Numerous videos are available on the subject of David Walker, former comptroller general of the United States, warning all who would/will listen that medicare, medicaid AND social security are bankrupt! That means DEBT.
Further, if you read the bill, you will notice the horrendous violations of medical and financial privacy.
There is no easy answer but national health care isn’t possible.

I'd worry about the quality of insurance. Are we talking about HMO or Blue Cross type insurance?
I think it's something worth considering health care to pregnant women who can't otherwise afford health care.
I like the idea of stopping at 2.

Yep, medicare, medicaid AND social security are bankrupt. Yep, there’s fraud, waste and abuse in all three agencies, but further- congress passed bills to rob the funds for use of the money elsewhere. There’s no efficiency in gov run agencies and they employ the largest number of illegal aliens, policies that promote uncompetitive, not useful procedures rather than applying what the free market USED to provide which grew technology and excellent service to the worlds highest standard- gone!
