How To Go About Choosing Fertility Clinics
By
Reproductive health is extremely important to most people and it is especially distressful when something goes wrong, like being unable to reproduce naturally. Fertility clinics are places that help people who are in need of answers as to why they are not able to conceive a child through sexual intercourse. These clinics are staffed with doctors who can conduct tests to track down the source of the problem and help infertile couples or individuals reach their goal of getting pregnant.
Most women are able to conceive within the first year after deciding to have a baby. However, if conception does not happen after a year of trying, then your doctor will do some basic fertility tests before he recommends you start looking into fertility clinics.
Having your doctor recommend a clinic is a great idea, but you should do some research on your own as well before you choose any fertility clinic. A great resource to peruse is the Assisted Reproductive Technology Report from the national Centers for Disease Control.
Your goal is to make sure that you find the clinic that is the best for you, as this is a huge step in your life. You want to make sure that the clinic has a good success rate, one that is at least above the national average. Some other important qualities that you want to have in any fertility clinic you choose is good quality control, great ethics and compatibility with your goals.
The healthcare professional that is taking care of you should be compassionate, listens to your concerns, and explains things to you in a way you understand. If for any reason this is not the case and you feel uncomfortable, then immediately move on and find another fertility clinic. There are many clinics available so check each of them thoroughly.
There are many fertility clinics that are available for people that have infertility issues. The first step towards the goal of having a baby is to find the right clinic and treatment for you.
The only way to do this is to roll up your sleeves and do some hard research. This work is worth it because creating a new life is one of the most important things that anyone can decide to do. Make sure that the people you choose to help you achieve this goal are genuine and will help you 100% of the way!

Help answer the question
Why are conservative christians against stem cell research but not against fertility clinics?
Fertility clinics are constantly creating and discarding human embryos. However, no person has ever created an embryo or had an abortion for the purpose providing stem cells.
Adults and children are humans too and we do research on them.
It seems odd that an industry which creates dead embryos is given a free pass, while an industry that wants to use them is attacked.

Whether or not your God had a hand in stripping these people of the ability to reproduce makes no difference to me. But scientifically speaking we have been breeding out birth defects and such for a few Milena now. And yes these people are barren because genetically they are weak and incapable. Sorry it's the truth.
So I think it's a dangerous game to play as well. Coming from somebody who has no kids I know. And you are right, there are kids starving to death in poor countries while people spend fortunes on the selfish act of genetic engineering. I agree, for different reasons, it is wrong.

Do a search by location at SART – Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology http://www.sart.org/find_frm.html# Find a clinic in your area that has high success rates for your age group. Here is a list of the best fertility clinics in the USA. http://www.russiansurrogacy.com/Top-IVF-Clinics.html
Once you narrow it down, you can check out ivfconnections.com and find other women with experience at those clinics. Just do a search or you can also post a question asking for recommendations. You can do the same with fertilethoughts.com. Both sites have helped me tremendously! You learn the most from others who have been there!
I do hear a lot of good things about Dr. Acacio in Laguna Niguel!
Best of luck!

I think it's selfish too. Do these people even stop to think how old they are going to be when their kids are teens? Sure, 50 isn't that old but when the kid is 20 they're going to be 70! That is old! Although a 20 year old may be pretty grown up, as a 20 year old I can say I sure as hell wouldn't want to be looking after my elderly parents during my twenties and then have them die on me before I hit 30. It just wouldn't be fair.
I know it's sad that some women may not have been able to have children when they were younger when IVF wasn't around, or wasn't as effective, but that's just a fact of life. Women have had to deal with infertility for thousands of years, and these 50+ women should, as hard as it may be, just accept that they have missed the boat and move on.
That may sound harsh but there is a reason it is extremely difficult for women to concieve naturally after a certain age – it's against nature for women to be having babies at that age.

Our doctor recommended 3 fertility clinics in the area and then we researched them online. It might not be the best way to select one . . . but we opted for one that had good results and was close to home. Fertility treatments involve a lot of testing, ultrasound, bloodwork and other appointments. Quitting my job to ttc is not an option so a location close to home with early morning hours (they open at 7AM) was a plus. I also liked the fact that they were open 7 days a week including holidays (we did an egg retrieval on Christmas Day) so that my cycle could be monitored naturally instead of manipulating my body to perform when they were open.
It is important to like your doctors and to trust them. Walking into it, we knew that if we did not like the doctor than we would leave and go somewhere else. This was too important to spend time with someone that we did not trust.
Another selling point of our clinic was the complementary care available. They offered acupuncture, a nutrionist, massage therapy, counseling, yoga and support groups. Trying to conceive is stressful and going through infertility can be depressing . . . so this was a huge benefit to us.
Hope this helps!

I think – misschrisc001′- video channel are a prime example of amateurs providing a far better information service than super slick corporate video postings like your’s.

I can think of only one reason to select the sex of your child. Some illnesses are selective and only effect either male or female. So by selecting the sex of your child could be a help.
I can't see a problem trying to have a baby of a certain sex, IE old tales that if you do this, or drink that then you will have a boy! do this and eat that you will have a girl. Nothing has been proved, Its just a little fun.
Choosing the colour, of eyes, hair, skin, and what ever else, then NO Why would you want to, to match your new hair style, the colour of the car? Babies are not a fashion statement, (look at Hollywood for that)
Leave it to God or luck depending on what you believe.

And yet you don't see the pro-lifers making a big stink over this, do you?
Noooooooo, they go after the women who want to maintain control over their own reproductive systems.

Well actually I don't support ANY abotions…but it would be a terrible act to abort a baby on the simple premise that it was projected to be gay. Having babies isn't a deal of "that didn't work out so well, let's start over".
Selective abortions are in fact worse than general abortions, just like Selective Prohibiton is worse that the total Prohibiton of the 1920's.
