depending on the woman's cycle she can be most fertile. In a 28 day cycle (period to period) it is 14 days from the day of her first period. She is most fertile in the first 72 hours (3days) of ovulation (days 11-14 of 28). It depends on the woman though, if she's not regular it could depend, but if she's under stress she may not ovulate at all in the one month.

The best way to find the success rates for fertility clinics is to go to the cdc's website- http://www.cdc.gov/art/ART2005/index.htm. I used this to decide who to use in my area. This is a report that shows all clinics in the country's rates for different ages, ect. I'm not sure about out of the country, but they are by law supposed to report here. I would avoid anything out of the country unless they come with reputable references because you want to avoid a scam! There are many great docs out there so take your time and really look at this list and find some one you think will be good for you! Good luck!
And FYI- if your 1st cycle doesn't work, don't worry! I'm 28 and it took me 2 cycles to get pregnant!

I think this is genetic, if women in your family usually get pregnant easily, there's a chance you're more fertile too. In my family several women gave birth well over 40, so I think I am quite fertile.

But I don't think more fertile women need a higher dose of the pill, at least I've never heard of that and it doesn't sound like a scientific fact.

I don't think there should be any age limit if they are paying for it. Someone who wants a baby bad enough to go through all those costly IVF procedures is probably going to make a better parent than some young girl who got knocked up by accident and can't even provide for the child without welfare or financial aid from someone. Don't get me wrong though, they should not dole out fertility drugs to just any idiot like the octo-mom.

Start taking Fertilaid. I think you can order it on Rite Aid's website. But you may be able to get it cheaper on another website. Also cut out caffeinine. Start exercising. We are thinking about doing Invitro..email me and let me know how it goes. Good Luck and God Bless!!!!

First you should make sure that you have been having regular timed intercourse (www.mycycle.com or www.fertilityfriend.com can help with this) for 12+ months if you are under age 35 or 6+ months if you are over 35. Then...

You should start with your GYN, s/he will probably do a regular pap and possibly run blood tests to start and he will send your hubby to do a seman analysis (SA).

If the SA comes back irregular then your GYN will probably refer you to a Urologist for further testing on your Hubby.

If everything is fine with your hubby's SA and your bloodwork comes out clean then he will probably refer you to a reproductive endocrinologist (RE) for further testing, etc.

Hint: Make sure you get a copy of any tests preformed and the results and take them with you to the RE, some of these tests will have to be repeated but some do not and you don't want to do any of these tests over.

I'm sure the women who used it and were pregnant right away would tell you yes. But they probably would have become pregnant that same month without it. It's all about timing. I have tried SOOOOO many different things and nothing is working for me.
