Reasonable Beauty Care
Posted by: | CommentsEach woman wishes her skin to look young, beauty and healthy as long as possible. How to attain this? Is it possible? Follow simple rules, we’ve already told about: beauty care means to take care of you health (your skin reflects the whole organism condition), sleep enough (you need no less than 8 hours to unbrace the muscles and to set your mind rest), drink enough of water (moisturized skin looks young), use natural skin care products, and be positive!
Among other things, listen to reason. Sometimes we work actively for the beauty care, as we think. But the result disappoints us. As it turned out we do harm for ourselves. For example, such kinds of beauty care as tan and SPA. What do you know about it? Are these procedures healthy?
Tan. There are a lot of people who would like to have beautiful brown skin. All of us like to lie under the sun from time to time just to have an equal tan. But, very often it is not safe at all! How many tanning people think about the super harmful UV rays? Instead of good-looking bronze skin you may get a serious case of skin cancer later, too. Dermatologists express strong dissent to tanning. It is quite harmful and even dangerous for skin; it forces skin aging because of dehydration. The tan provokes wrinkles. For those who want to have brown skin in spite of this, remember: keep away from the sun from 10:00 in the morning to 3:00 in the afternoon. This time the sun is most harmful. Always use sunglasses and sun-protection cream. By the way you’d better use sun-protection cream even if you are not tanning, but it is sunny. These creams permit your skin to tan, but protect it from UV rays.
There are also some tips for a safe, sunless tanning right at home. Clean your body carefully, before applying those sunless tanners. To get uniform tanning, use moderate amount on knees, elbows and other parts with thick, dry skin, as they will appear darker. Use a sponge or paintbrush to apply tanner on the back. When applying on the face, try to avoid zone around the eyes. Wash hands straight after application with soap and water. Use a make-up wedge for the backs of your hands. If this procedure goes wrong, use a spray tanner it is much more easy-to-use. Avoid contact with carpets, fabrics, clothing, and furniture. Repeat process for a deeper tan, if necessary.
SPA. It is an absolutely healthy way beauty care, but you shouldn’t visit the most expensive spa parlors to get the necessary treatment. Create a home made SPA products. Take only the best and the fresh. Use fruit, vegetables, marine and aromatic oils, herbs and salts. A salad or a fruit a day will benefit your skin! Beauty Problems That Makeup Cosmetics Can’T Solve
Posted by: | CommentsDoes your skin have blackheads or enlarged pores? Perhaps your problem is whiteheads. You may have tried all sorts of makeup cosmetics to cover up these skin blemishes, and spent plenty of money in the process. They do deliver what they promise, which is to cover up your problem. The trouble is that you will have to keep buying these make up cosmetics to hide the faults in your skin since they will never make the problem go away. You should be addressing the problem from its root cause so you can eliminate it. This will decrease your dependence on makeup cosmetics.
In case you have blackheads, you will have to remove them physically. They get formed when dead skin cells and sweat block a hair follicle on your face and cause the pores to swell. Dirt and impurities get stuck in these enlarged pores and your face will have black dots on it, particularly on or around the nose and chin. They are very unattractive to look at and give your skin a rough appearance and texture. You can get to buy blackhead removers from any beauty shop. These are long thin metal objects with a wire circle at one end. Hold your face over a gently steaming pan of water in order to open up the pores. Use the remover to push the blackheads out. You could also remove them using blackhead removal strips. Use a medicated face wash after you are done and finish off with a very light moisturizer. Do this gently and as infrequently as possible. You could damage your skin when you force the blackheads out.
Enlarged pores happen when the sweat glands on your face are over active. The large open pores on your face are very unappealing to look at as well. Buy a special face wash that will reduce the oil on your skin. It would be better if you could ask your dermatologist to prescribe you one. Whiteheads are another common problem, though not as bad as blackheads. These too are caused by the accumulation of oil in your facial pores. Use a gentle facial scrub regularly to get rid of them.
Never use a harsh scrub as that could cause fine lines and wrinkles to form on your face. The common factor to all these problems is the extreme oiliness of your skin. It is best to focus on preventing them from forming on your face. Use a gentle face scrub everyday and buy a good quality toner. Reduce the amount oil in your food and try to improve your diet. No amount of beauty treatments will improve your looks if you do not eat healthy. Increasing the amount of water you drink and wash your face with plain water many times a day. Do not waste your hard earned money on makeup cosmetics to address these problems. There is no easy way around them and you will have to remove them physically if you want your skin to look smooth and flawless.

Girls – Would you date a guy who spends more money on personal care/beauty products than you do?
Let's say he's absolutely attracted to women, he's smart and successful, but he just happens to know more about beauty care than you do…. He ONLY uses salon shampoos etc. Would you still date him? Or would that be a turn off?
Just wondering…. lol

Wax Beauty Care – Men Love it Too
Posted by: | CommentsOne of the movements in beauty care in past years has been that of hair removal. It seems as if hair is positively out and everyone wants a smooth, hairless body. In reality, the human body is almost completely covered with hair, with the exception of the palms of the hands and soles of the feet. This makes for a worthwhile business for those who are licensed for hair removal. Although there is more than one hair removal method to choose from, wax beauty care has long been one of the most common methods of removing hair. And women are not the only ones buying into this American beauty skin care removal craze. Men are also among frequent clients, getting their backs, chests and other areas hair-free with hair waxing.
Waxing has long been a favorite method of those seeking to be smooth. Waxing requires hot wax to be poured on the area and then withdrawn by having strips stuck on and pulled off along with unwanted hair. Although this method is often painful, it is cost effective and can last a while, which keeps many customers coming back for more American beauty skin care. Another selling point for some is that waxing can be applied by professionals in a salon or can be done in your own home with one of many self-waxing kits sold in stores. For people not wanting to spend a lot of money or have the process done in a public salon, home waxing can seem ideal.
There are a number of areas on the human body that people choose for wax beauty care. Women have made waxing extremely popular for their legs and bikini areas, particularly during summer months. Since waxing keeps areas hair free longer than shaving and often prevents the area from becoming irritated with small red bumps like shaving sometimes does, waxing has grown more and more popular. However, while shaving can be done to smooth areas with even the shortest stubble of hair sprouting up, to wax an area you must wait until a certain length of hair has grown in so the wax has a substantial length of hair to grip onto and pull out. Another benefit of waxing is that the treatment makes hair grow back finer each time. That means that each time the hair grows back after waxing it will be thinner and easier to eliminate.
Since bikini waxing has become so popular in recent years, there have been a number of different bikini waxes designed depending on how much hair a woman wants removed. This allows women to have a number of choices when it comes to bikini waxes. Most of the time, the person working in the salon where you get your bikini wax will be able to help you if you are unsure about what type of wax you are seeking. However, numerous women have an idea in mind when they schedule their waxing appointment. Standard bikini waxes remove the hair around the bikini line, making more attractive to wear a bathing suit. This is perhaps the utmost popular bikini wax. However, the waxing does not stop there. A full bikini wax eradicates all pubic hair except for a strip, while a Brazilian bikini wax takes off all hair in the bikini area. The names of the waxes can vary from salon to salon but these are typically the varieties of waxes offered.
Wax beauty care, particularly bikini waxing, is done in a private part of the salon, so do not worry about others viewing your wax. Your position during a bikini wax is quite similar to your position during a gynecological exam. If you are desiring a full or Brazilian wax you may find that it is necessary for you to get into different positions for the person doing the waxing to reach all areas of hair. But since salon employees who administer bikini waxes likely do numerous waxes each day, they are used to the process and you should not feel embarrassed. Results of bikini waxing typically last anywhere from ten to twenty days, then you will likely be ready for another American beauty skin care appointment. And keep in mind that since the hair must be a certain length in order to be erased with waxing, you will have to go at least a few days with a considerable amount of stubble.

What’s Hiding in your Bathroom – Part 2 – Toxic Free Skin Care Solutions
Posted by: | CommentsDISCOVER WHAT IS HIDING IN YOUR BATHROOM!
(Part 2)
REVIEW FROM OUR LAST ARTICLE
In our first article we discussed the differences between popular buzz words used frequently in the cosmetic industry like pure, non-toxic, and natural. We contrasted the differences between these type of products and Seven Arrows Color Connection’s Toxic Free product line (http://www.toxictruth.com ). In this article we will discuss the harmful ingredients contained in the everyday products that we use and how they cause damage and harm to the biggest organ in our body … the skin.
WHAT IS IN SYNTHETIC INGREDIENTS?
When you read most ingredient labels carefully you will find the majority of the ingredients listed there to be synthetic. In fact, most of the ingredients used are synthetic or artificial. Why? The answer, upon closer investigation is really very simple. The answer is money.
To plant, grow, harvest and otherwise create a truly “natural” ingredient is time consuming, labor intensive and expensive. Natural ingredients, if not carefully controlled during the growing period could contain inconsistencies in their potency. That is to say, some crops may yield higher concentrations or strengths in the plant. This would impact the formula or end result of the product and could affect the consistency which would dramatically impact the end result.
The consumers could experience one jar that you only need to use a little of and another jar that you would have to use a lot of to achieve the same result. This could become very confusing to the consumer. Natural and pure could be better but may also produce challenges.
When an ingredient is created synthetically, there are a few things that can happen. First, you have control over the potency of the ingredient. Second, you have an abundance of it and because you have created it in a laboratory in huge amounts, it becomes less labor intensive meaning it is cheaper to produce than a naturally grown ingredient. Third and probably most important to the creators is that the process to create the ingredient can be patented. A patent means that you can produce it and sell it to hundreds of manufacturers. This means you can put it in your own product and sell it, but you can also sell the basic ingredient to every other personal care manufacturer to put in their products and make money off of it. It suddenly becomes a very lucrative business.
Although we do not believe big business and industry would intentionally try to “poison” their consumers, if an ingredient has not been “proven” to be hazardous and the claims that it might be harmful are only speculative, and if the company that manufactures it is making money off of it, they will continue to do so at our expense until it becomes so obvious that they have to package with disclaimers or take it off of the market completely. A perfect case in point is the tobacco industry.
First their products were distributed without any warning labels on them at all. Then the label said they might cause a health concern and then finally the label reads a huge warning that the surgeon general has proven that the product is harmful or fatal to your health. Finally there is a warning that has some teeth in it, but how many years did it take to get there? 40? 50? No matter, it was a long time.
The sad part of this story is that there were “preliminary” warnings out there but because they could not be proven beyond any reasonable shadow of a doubt, they were seen as “one sided and inaccurate”.
What kind of warnings have you heard about the ingredients in your personal care products? The parabens, sodium laurel sulfate, glycerins, sunscreens, etc. What warnings have you heard and ignored? Or, worse yet, what warnings have you NOT heard? What is being said about the products (or ingredients in the products) that you are using? How “safe” are they? For more information on some of these ingredients and the damaging effects they have on your body, visit www.helpme.com.
WHAT CAN WE DO?
Good News. With all of this information available to us, we may begin to think: “What’s the Use?” Or worse yet; “There’s nothing I can do”. Both of these statements would be incorrect and self defeating. There is plenty that you can do.
One of the purposes of this treatise is to inform and educate consumers of the actions they can take to safe guard their health. Ignorance is the worst excuse, whereas knowledge is power. The information offered here will help to arm you, the consumer, and make you wiser in your purchases.
The information in this article is helpful, however, the real remedy lies within you and the amount of education you are able to receive. The first place you should begin to discover what is really invading your body can be found on each and every label.
We read labels when it comes to food. We count carbs, grams of fat, cholesterol, etc. We are becoming a very food savvy generation and we are not afraid to ask for “pure” bottled water with our “natural” veggie burger and fresh garden salad with the fat free dressing on the side.
In other words, when it comes to food, we know what is good for us and what is not and we are not afraid or timid when it comes to giving instructions to restaurant owners and waitresses on what we will take into our bodies and what we will not.
WHAT GOES INSIDE?
The skin is the largest organ in our body. Each square centimeter is filled with:
• 6,000,000 cells
• 5,000 sensory points
• 100 sweat glands
• 15 sebaceous glands
Your skin IS the largest organ of your body, consisting of approximately 3000 sq. ft. Every square inch of your skin contains oil glands, sweat glands, thousands of nerve endings, millions of cells and several feet of small blood vessels.
The main functions of the skin are to keep out foreign substances, protect the underlying tissues from injury, maintain adequate moisture in the tissues, regulate body heat and temperature, and act as a receptor organ for the sensations of touch and pain, and aid in the elimination of water and waste materials.
In order to remain healthy and vibrant the skin must take in oxygen and nourishment, eliminate waste materials and reproduce new cells. One of the main functions of the skin is to protect the underlying tissues from bacteria or disease. Therefore, the surface of the skin is slightly acidic, which protects us against bacteria and environmental pollution.
When considering the skin and its functions, one of the most important things to understand is that the skin is an organ that absorbs chemicals. It is especially susceptible to petroleum chemicals.
It used to be thought in the 1960’s and early 70’s that the skin was an impenetrable shield. Many believed it was like an armadillo shell and that it would keep everything out. Modern research, however, has proven this is not the case.
The skin is an oil based organ and has an affinity to oil based substances such as petroleum. Research substantiates that these various ingredients are absorbed into and through the skin and that there are health risks associated with most cosmetic personal care, oral care, and household ingredients. Further medical research has established to what degree different substances can penetrate the skin.
Modern medicine delivers drugs internally through a process called trans dermal application. What that means is that you put a product onto your skin topically and because of its molecular structure, it is able to migrate through the skin, use the body’s own natural fluids to penetrate to the inner organs delivering the medication necessary to achieve the desired result.
This is a wonderful break through for modern medicine, but if they can deliver medication or other substances to the organs through a topical application, how many other chemicals or harmful ingredients are we absorbing into our internal organs every day? Is it any wonder that so many people are suffering from “new” and different types of disorders? Wouldn’t it be possible for us to be “poisoning” ourselves slowly without even knowing it?
The very same type of molecules that are used to make drug patches, like for motion sickness, breaking the nicotine habit or birth control are formulated to the very same molecular size that a PEG is made from. PEG stands for polyethylene glycol. Each number behind the PEG on a label indicates the molecular weight. The low numbers up to 400 may cause hives and aczema. PEG is made by ethoxylating Propylene Glycol and may contain dangerous levels of dioxins.
When you read the ingredient labels on the back of your personal care products, look for those ingredients that are labeled as a PEG. When you discover these ingredients, you will be looking at something that is designed to penetrate the skin. You will be looking at something that has also been designed to emulsify. This emulsification process takes place inside your skin using your own oil to emulsify with water which is, binding up the inside of your skin so that it doesn’t operate right.
Now you have a double problem. 1. Your skin doesn’t work correctly because it is bound up inside and, even worse yet, 2. You are delivering to your sensitive, tender, internal organs those ingredients that may deliver damage and even cause the organ to stop working altogether.
Because of the advances in the chemical industry, we are now able to make ingredients with a molecular structure so fine that it can penetrate the skin. Now, instead of the skin being the first line of defense and protecting the inside of the body from an invasion of harmful ingredients, it has become a “carrier” organ that assists in delivering these harmful substances right to the very organs it was designed to protect! What is the end result? For many, it is weakness, poor health and in some instances, even death.

Question and Answer
Beauty Care?
What treatments are there for hair loss in women?
Ask your doctor about minoxidil (the generic name for Rogaine.) This is over-the-counter and available in 2% and 5% concentrations. It's something of a nuisance to apply but it helps conserve hair and may even grow some. Propecia is a drug that helps men retain their hair but unfortunately has no use for women. Propecia is not safe for women of childbearing age and it just doesn't work for older women. This is unfortunate but, for the moment, this is the situation. Surgical procedures like hair transplants can be useful for some women as well as men to "fill in" thinned-out areas.

4 Beauty Care Skin Solutions For Winkles
Posted by: | CommentsRetaining the blush of youth well into your 60’s used to be a fantasy, but with the strategic application of skin science and a healthy dose of common sense, yesterday’s fantasy can become your reality. If you understand the mechanism of aging you can devise a strategy to stave off the onset of sagging, crepey or wrinkled skin far beyond previous expectations with some simple beauty skin care tips.
Skin is comprised of 26 independent microscopically thin layers of tissue. This complex structure is resistant to lining and wrinkling and the substrata compensates for the repeated tissue folding impressed by repeated facial expression. However, when the line finally catches your eye in the morning mirror, it is several layers deep and must be considered permanent.
While the best strategy is to prevent the wrinkles from occurring in the first place, many products and treatments for wrinkle correction are available:
A good homecare routine: Morning and evening cleansing and moisturizing are the grassroots approach to achieving and maintaining wrinkle-free skin. Physician-grade and many natural or “green” products offer high-density effective ingredients with little or no fillers, which are commonly found in over-the-counter and department store products.
An effective cleanser is matched to your specific skin type and cleans the skin without stripping it of vital oils and moisture.
Serums and moisturizers “feed” the skin with nutrients to aid in moisture retention as well as collagen and elastin production, which decrease with aging.
A healthy diet and adequate water consumption are vital to maintaining clear, healthy skin. Antioxidants, which are found in fruits and vegetables, provide cellular protection to minimize the effects of aging. Water helps the body keep the skin plump and flushes toxins from the system.
Sleep allows the body to rest and recover from daily stress. This is the most efficient time for your body to distribute nutrients to the tissues, encouraging regeneration and making you look “well rested” in the morning.
Professional care: Putting yourself in the hands of a qualified esthetician helps to define your skincare regime, identify the best products for your skin type and allows for periodic maintenance beyond what you can achieve on your own.
Estheticians are certified in the use and application of moderately aggressive acid peels, microdermabrasion and dermabrasion to remove accumulated dead skin cells, eventually improving the overall texture of the skin.
Most can also offer ultrasound, galvanic or other deep hydration therapy to push nutrients deep into the tissue. This helps to minimize the appearance of existing lines and wrinkles by balancing the skin’s structure and restoring a healthy balance of fluids and nutrients.
Home Galvanic units: Affordable quality units are available for less than $300, but the investment will provide years of treatments.
Galvanics operate on an electrical impulse that, when combined with appropriate treatment gels and serums, extracts accumulated bacteria and impurities and drives nutrients deep into tissue.
An added benefit of galvanic treatment is the stimulation of underlying muscle tissue. The rejuvenating effect minimizes the appearance of lines and wrinkles, firms sagging skin and imparts the healthy glow of well hydrated skin.
Laser treatments: Ranging from red or blue light therapy to Intense Pulsed Light (IPL), gentle laser treatments for the improvement of the appearance and condition of skin have become commonplace.
The medical esthetics industry employs lasers to correct pigmentation, minimize the appearance of capillaries, calm and heal acne and improve overall skin condition and collagen production.
Laser resurfacing removes the uppermost layers of skin, paving the way for a virtually wrinkle-free countenance. Resurfacing requires several weeks of healing.
Look to family for an idea of the conditions to which you are predisposed. Use this knowledge to establish a beauty care skin regime retains muscle tone and cultivates healthy skin. Just as you incorporate good personal habits and a workout regime to maintain a healthy body, a balanced diet, ample sleep and routine maintenance will preserve the blush of youth for years to come.

The Transcendental Perfection: Beauty
Posted by: | CommentsBeauty is also known as pulcrum. It is a transcendental perfection, which results from esse or the act of being. There are different degrees of being, the vegetative life (plants), the sentient life (animals) and the rational life (human persons); beauty’s variety and richness depends on the different degrees of being.
Beauty has different levels depending on the subject from which it transcends; intelligible beauty directly is attached to the spiritual life and the sense perceptible beauty is applied to things, which attracts our sense, especially our hearing and seeing.
There are different types too, natural beauty which comes from the nature of beings, therefore we can say a woman is beautiful naturally in her femininity and rationality; and artificially when she starts further enhancing her beauty through make-up, dressing and exercise, and a painting is artificially beautiful in so far as it is painted artificially by human hands.
The Unity Of Beauty And Goodness
A special type of goodness is beauty because it gives rise to a special delight by simply being known. The sensible appetite comes into play when it feels the aesthetic appreciation and delight. It is the contemplation of the beauty of the object not on its possession. Beauty is pleasing to the will or sense appetites simply by being known by the senses or the intellect.
The Foundation Of Beauty Lies In Perfection
The foundation of beauty lies in the perfection of the desired object; things are pleasing because they are beautiful. Therefore whether or not there are men or women who are capable of appreciating a beauty, the perfection still resides in the object and thus beautiful. This perfection is from the act of being, the fullness, and absolute Beauty.
Perfecting Beauty In Its Fullest Sense
The foundation of beauty is the absolute. Beauty, the act of being, and we can say things are beautiful in so far as they already possess perfection. However this is not the only aspect of beauty. A created being can only reach the fullness of the beauty if it possesses the perfection of its very nature. An example of this is a woman can only be truly beautiful in her being a woman, in her finest feminine nature.
There are three basic features of beauty:
There should be harmony and proportion in the object and subject itself and to its surroundings. The combination of clothes must be in accordance with the occasion and personality type. To further enhance one’s perfection, she is properly made up not excessively but appropriately, she is pleasing to the sight and thus we can say the person is attractive. Integrity and completeness of the object is another element to consider in its substantial and accidental form. A beautiful thing is considered when it is complete up to the last detail. The beauty of the Mozart Cantata is an example of a work of beauty of integrity and completeness.
Another element is clarity, both in the material and the spiritual. In case of systematic knowledge, clarity is seen in its intelligibility, truth and being. In case of the sense of hearing, the arrangement of the melody that makes the music pleasant. In the case of sight, light, limpidity and brightness are taken into consideration; a painting is characterized by clarity if there is light, limpidity, and brightness.
Question and Answer
Beauty…….?????????????????????????????
Beauty…..?
you know that saying that beauty is in the eye of the beholder? well, that's partly true. i've noticed that extremely beautiful people are thought by everyone as beautiful, and if youre just okay-looking, then some people may think you are pretty, while some peope won't. and and everyone agrees on if someone is unattractive. so, technically, beauty mostly isn't in the eye of the beholder. know what i mean? what do you think?

At-home Beauty Treatments Offer Lower Costs, Lower Risks
Posted by: | Comments
Many are afraid to undergo surgery because of the risks or the expense that is often associated with these cosmetic procedures. Fortunately, there are now products that can be used in the privacy of your own home for a fraction of the cost, are more convenient and offer great results.
For years, those searching to get rid of fine lines and get that healthy glow went to a physician for microdermabrasion, a treatment where dead skin cells are removed with tiny silicon or aluminum-oxide crystals blown against the skin using a hand-held device and then sucked up with a small vacuum. Costing about $1,200 a visit, the procedure was not easy on the wallet. But there’s a new generation of at-home alternatives that allows you to get similar results within weeks. Creams and serums that contain Retinol (pure vitamin A) exfoliate the skin, giving a more youthful appearance. Those who want to go a step further can now buy their own high-tech beauty treatment system, a microdermabrasion machine, at a cost of $79.95 (www.sharperimage.com).
Some women are unhappy with the size or shape of their bust. They might have always wished they were a cup size larger so that their clothes fit them better, or they may have noticed changes in their shape after childbirth. Regardless of the reason, many of these women are afraid or unwilling to undergo the pain associated with implants. Others are simply not willing to fork over the average $5,000 cost for surgery. Now there is another option available, a system that is clinically proven to grow a woman’s own natural breasts about a cup size without surgery, pills or creams.
These are just a few of the do-it-yourself at home beauty treatments that are easier on your wallet, provide you with more control of your looks and can be done on your own time. To find out more about these treatments, log on to their Web sites or try the procedures yourself for the ultimate proof. – NU

Beauty Treatments (part 2)

Let us continue to look at some of the available beauty treatments in more detail.
Make up Sessions
A make-up session can simply be a bit of fun or it can be educational too as clients can learn new methods of applying cosmetics and also identify colours which flatter their skin tone. There will be an initial consultation where the beauty therapist will learn from the client whether they wish to learn how to apply make-up or cover scars and blemishes, if they are attending a special occasion such as a wedding or are simply feeling the need for a little pampering. Usually, the session will include cleansing, toning and moisturizing of the skin before cosmetics are applied to the face.
Hair removal
Epilation refers to the removal of the entire hair (above and below the skin) from the face or body and can be temporary or permanent depending on the techniques used by the beauty therapist.
Temporary methods offered by beauty therapists, which generally need to be repeated every four to eight weeks, include:
Waxing – hot wax is useful for removing strong hair growth, for example, in the underarm or bikini area and results can last up to six weeks.
Sugaring – a sugar paste is applied to the skin and as it is at a very low temperature, it is thought to be gentler on the skin.
Permanent hair removal techniques, where a course of treatments is usually required include:
Electrolysis or short-wave diathermy – an electrical current cauterizes the hair follicle and then each hair is removed using tweezers.
Laser – this is the newest technique for hair removal and is more effective on coarse, dark hair than lighter hair because intense pulsed light interacts with the pigment in the hair. Medical supervision is required and so it tends to be offered in more specialized establishments.
Massage
Each massage therapy has its own specific benefits. However, generally speaking massage helps to improve circulation and relax muscles. Techniques offered by beauty therapists include Swedish massage, aromatherapy massage, Thai, Shiatsu and Indian Head massages.
Hydrotherapy
Hydrotherapy refers to the application of water as a form of treatment and there are different types of hydrotherapy treatment available, which are usually offered at a spa. Hydrotherapy baths use powerful jets of water to massage, tone and stimulate the muscles and they may be used in combination with seaweeds, mineral salts or mud treatments. Other treatment options include thalassotherapy pools and plunge pools.
If you choose just one or even all of the beauty treatments discussed in these articles, hopefully you will have a relaxing and enjoyable experience that leaves you feeling refreshed and ready to face the world again.
