When diagnosed with cancer, it is a difficult time in anyone’s life. However, the diagnosis is made even more difficult with the generally harsh conventional treatments such as chemotherapy. In many cases, cancer patients tend to combine natural cancer treatment with the conventional treatments they are currently receiving. In other cases, they may not be able to continue using these conventional methods because they may seem pointless. This is especially true for those affected with an advanced cancer stage.
For many people and this has been documented in a variety of research and medical outlets, natural cancer treatment is the best option. It is far less harsh, has fewer side effects, and in most cases, helps in eliminating other factors that may be aggravating the cancer or even causing it. The idea behind natural cancer treatment is that the body has the ability to kill and fight off cancer.
However, in order to do this, it must be healthy and running at full speed. With natural cancer treatment combined with other elements such as improved diet and lifestyle changes, it is the belief in the alternative medical world that the body does have the ability to essentially heal itself. With natural treatment, you often take care of underlying problems, which may be the cause of the cancer.
By taking care of this problem, the body is more able to focus on the cancer than the other issues. The bad thing about conventional cancer treatments is that they tend to carry numerous side effects. For example, with traditional chemotherapy and even the chemotherapy pills, there are a great deal of side effects, which may include:

* Nausea
* Vomiting
* Fatigue
* Loss of Hair
* Increased Risk of Infection
* Pain
* Constipation
* Diarrhea
* Skin Troubles
* Bladder Troubles
* Kidney Troubles
With all of these side effects, it is no wonder that people are turning to natural cancer treatment. In many cases, cancer patients will combine natural treatment methods with their conventional methods to attempt to alleviate some of the side effects.
What is more, even though chemotherapy is an FDA approved cancer treatment, it does not always work in eliminating the cancer. If it does work, there is always the chance that it may return. The same chances exist with natural methods as well, without the massive list of side effects that seems to go on and on. Most alternative methods are the result of years and years of study, research, and evidence.
Though doctors and government officials refuse to acknowledge these methods of treatment, it does not mean that they will not work in fighting cancer. Alternative means you are given another option in your treatment choices, the options and ultimate decisions rest within your hands.

How can I build up my immune system after breast cancer treatments?
I have a very low immune system since I had chemotherapy, radiation, and other breast cancer treatments and surgeries. Since I finished chemo and radiation less than a year ago, I have had shingles, meningitis, and have had to fight 2 infections in my left breast that had the radiation in it and will have to go in for surgery to have the implant removed, and replaced. I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired. What can I do? Also, gained 40 lbs and hate the weight gain.

No. There is no truth to using this product for cancer. It's only use is cosmetic. It is not an FDA approved product. There is no scientific evidence that the product benefits a cancer patient.
"FDA determined that a pure emu oil product marketed to treat or cure a wide range of diseases was an unapproved drug. Its marketer had never submitted to FDA data to support the product's safe and effective use."

Emu oil has unfortunately been one of these products that has been hyped instead of being scientifically investigated. American Emu Association hired researchers from the University of Lowell Mass to run tests on the product. Emu oil did demonstrate some anti-inflammatory properties on mice, but has not been tested on humans.

I am so sorry…Yes, My cousin got diagnosed with the same thing. and he lasted 3 years after being diagnosed. They gave him 1 moth to live, but he lasted 6 more after that. I met a lot of kids in that situation as we thought, I, myself had it too. Luckily, it was a false reading, but it's when they give up their will to live is when they lose. My cousin had all types of chemo and treatment, but he just decided one day to lose the will to live. He died rather quickly after that. JUst take every day with him for granted and love what he is still able to do. Keep them happy, because every once of hatred that you feel doesn't go to the grave with them, it goes with you. Sorry and hope this gives you a better idea.

Thank you for sharing your point of view. In many area's you are correct. I have Iranian friends and they are well educated, modern, and very good people.
Unfortunately, your government has made statements that are provacative, at best. When your president, Ahmadinejad, says "Israel should be wiped off the map", it does nothing to promote Iran in a positive manner. The fact that he didn't say Iran would do it is not important, many believe he would if he could. Why would a head of state even say this?
You ought to educate yourself on Palestine and Palestinians. It was the Jews who were the original Palestinians. BTW, how many Jews have acted as suicide bombers, killing innocent women and children?
What government has threatened Iran with nuclear bombs? None. Nada. Zip. And you are incorrect, most countries do NOT have nukes. Very few do. They are: Russia, U.S., France, Pakistan, India, U.K., and possibly N. Korea, and Israel.
You fail to understand America and the media. I agree with you, the media (here and everywhere) is often wrong. The media does not speak for the government. We have freedom of speech, they can say what they want. As you said, that doesn't make it true. Also, a news organization stating it is possible and country's president stating it ought to be done are two different things, don't you think?.
Even America's opposition is against the persuit of nuclear arms by Iran. The International community offered to provide Iran free processed uranium for use in the Russian built nuclear reactors. Why would you turn that down? Why would you even have to think about enriching uranium to the point of it's possible nuclear arms use?
You talk about Hiroshima, Nagasaki. You are correct, many many people died. You are also incorrect, we do see them as human beings and are sorry and horrified it happened. The question at the time was, "How many will die if we have to invade Japan?" The answer was far too many on both sides and, it will quickly end the war. Also, in war, if it comes down to you or me dieing, which do you choose?
How many were killed when the U.S. pulled out of Vietnam? Estimates range from two to three million people were killed after the U.S. left. Was this good?
American's are quite knowledable about the numbers of Kurds gassed in Iraq, the numbers of Shiites killed by Saddam, and the war between Iran and Iraq. How about Saddam's invasion of Kuait, is this really the conversation you wish to have. Saddam had, for all intents and purposes, enslaved the Shiites. The Sunni minority ruled the Shiite majority. It may not be this way in Iran, but in Iraq, it was different. Why were you at war with each other?
Many Americans still think back to the hostages taken for 444 days by Iran. That wasn't the act of a modern, enlightened government. Only time and deeds will change that. Anti-American and anti-Iranian rhetoric will not move us forward.

I really don't think it's an option. GOOD & humane doctors don't want to lay a trip on you, especially because they themselves are never certain how a specific person will respond. I think it's cruel when a doctor tells someone they have 3 months to live, & it turns out that they go on for years–this is such a delicate line from the doctor's point of view. TRULY. They most often don't have the answers. I don't think I'd want to be told the worst, when from my experience with people in chemo &/or radiation, for example, they have recovered in ways not expected. I understand, I do, that you're saying the "truth" should be told. But what is the truth? The oncologist of a friend of mine tried every way not to state an absolute, & IN THIS CASE the decision to be "gentle" didn't work at all. Certainly there are reasonable "expectations" a doctor considers, but do they ever truly know for sure? It must be a dreadful decision for them. One I don't envy. I think the bottom line to your question is that THEY DO NOT KNOW FOR SURE. Then why scare the hell out of you? I don't know if you're talking about yourself, or someone else–feels like it's YOU. I'm so sorry…

That is a myth. Some people believe that if the cancer is exposed to air it spreads. There are lots of rumors.
Cancer is constantly putting off cells that may stick in another place in your body.
Cutting it either with the biopsy or surgery is necessary, and you need to take care of this as soon as possible.
Prostate cancer is curable if detected and treated early, if not it is fatal.
